Angie Davis grew up surrounded by the love and warmth of two close-knit communities in Somonauk and Sandwich, the latter being where her aunt owned a gas station that doubled as a local gathering spot. Encouraged by friends and family who couldn’t get enough of her homemade treats, Angie took a bold step. She bought the building, gave it a complete makeover, and opened Angie’s Sugar Buzz Bakery in 2014.
